Write your Pyrenean story every day…
8:30 pm, you’re at home, in front of your computer. You have booked your vacation at L’Argalyde. You’ll come with your family, but enjoy a few moments alone with your mount on our beautiful Pyrenean roads.
You’ve got it all planned. You’ll get up at the crack of dawn. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll collect your bike from our secure bike room. You’ll then start your outing while the rest of the family is still asleep. Today’s objective? The Col du Tourmalet, lord of the Pyrenees. You’ll have plenty of time: your partner and children will be enjoying the residence’s heated family pool all morning. When you return at 1 p.m., your family will enjoy a meal of local produce, provided by us.
In the evening, after putting the kids to bed, you and your partner can relax in our sauna cabin. You’ll be ready to tackle a new pass the next day… that is, if negotiations with the rest of the family go according to plan…

L’Argalyde, official partner
of the Arkea-Samsic cycling team
The L’Argalyde tourist residence is proud to be one of the official suppliers of theArkea Samsic professional cycling team. Shared moral, ethical and sporting values are at the root of this recent partnership, which we hope will last a long time.
We regularly welcome the team’s riders, who take advantage of our proximity to the legendary Pyrenean mountain passes to train for the biggest races, including the Tour de France. Our in-residence facilities (jacuzzi, spa, massage room, heated pools, etc.) are ideal for the recovery and relaxation of these demanding professionals.
Since they speak better about our residence than we do, we’ll give the floor to one of them, Thomas Boudat:
“The estate is nice. It’s very easy to get to from the freeway. Everything has been refurbished, and we’re welcomed by sportsmen and sportswomen, because the owners are like that. So they easily understand our needs. The location is perfect: after just ten kilometers, we’re at the foot of the mountain passes. If you want to ride on the flat, all you have to do is head for Lourdes. Everything has been thought of for cyclists. The residence provides bicycle garages with dedicated lockers. Hikers are also catered for. L’Argalyde is truly a beautiful estate that offers a wide range of choices to those who stay there.”
